In Sweet Solitude, soprano Nicole Jordan sings the art songs of American composer Samuel Barber (1910 –1981) inspired by the texts of notable poets James Joyce and W.B. Yeats. Her accompanist is the Dutch organist and pianist Christian Faddegon. Two beautiful and thought-provoking contemporary works by young Argentinean composer, Diego Soifer (1981 - ) are also included: 'Desde Afuera' and 'An 8-letter word'. The 'Sweet Solitude' production includes choreographies by modern dancers Zaddik Francis and Aleksandra Borys. Click here for the 'Sweet Solitude' concert program (PDF).
